Problems launching U-Compare on Mac OSX

A recent update from apple seems to have caused problems with the Java web start file associations used to launch U-Compare. Future updates will hopefully fix the problems with jnlp files, but in the meantime you can correct the file association yourself by following the instructions available at:

How do I Create a Download Stack in Mac OS X Leopard? I acidentally deleted the download stack in my dock, i created a folder and made it a stack but how do i get the downloads i do to go into it, because they keep going on the desktop or somewhere else. I don't really want to reinstall mac os x, is there abother option?

If you just want to use U-Compare, I recommend to use UCLoader, our new launcher tool, which does not use JWS.

If you mean Java Web Start in general for Mac OS -- sorry I am not a Mac user, another person might help you.
