System requirements: Sun Java 6 (Windows, Linux, Mac OS X). You can easily install Java or confirm your Java version from java.com. Do not use OpenJava/OpenJDK. How to Launch includes detailed troubleshooting and other options starting U-Compare other than Java Web Start.
